Before we get to what’s on my mind, check out the newest board to drop on Red Panda Skateboards.

This is the Ice Wizard. Steely-eyed, bent on world domination…and waiting to be ridden on the street, the park, the driveway, where ever you skate.

Now…back to deep thoughts with Red Panda…

Resilience and creativity.

These two words have occupied my thoughts a lot lately.

How about you? What do you think about a lot? What two words come to mind when you think of living in this time period?

Everything is moving in opposite directions. We don’t know where to look some days for sanity and stability.

In these challenging times, the need for resilient and creative individuals has never been more crucial.

We need them in our schools, churches, libraries, government, and neighborhoods. We need them to run for school councils, judgeships, and local fire departments.

We need them in the sports world, where they can present solutions to millions because of who they are, what they do, and the platform they are given. I understand Charles Barkley’s statement that he wasn’t a role model, but we could use a few who will stand up and say they have ideas to help our young people grow upright and true and back them up with their life experience.

How about you?

Will you take a minute today to find someone around you who needs help, come up with one creative idea to help them out, and show them how it is done over the long haul, with resilience?
